Preventing Violent Extremism
Prevent is part of the Government's broader counter terrorism strategy, and has five key objectives:
–Challenging the violent extremist ideology and supporting mainstream voices
–Disrupting those who promote violent extremism and supporting the institutions where they may be active
–Supporting vulnerable individuals
–Increasing the capacity of communities to resist violent extremism
–Addressing grievances
Funding is available for projects addressing these objectives.
