The Survey aimed to find out:

• local VCS priorities for support
• key priority issues local VCS groups wished ECN and the LSP to address
• how local VCS groups contribute to Ealing in terms of income raised, how many Ealing residents benefit from VCS services, how many people are employed in local VCS groups

Key findings were:

• the top priority for local VCS groups was being treated as an equal partner by decision-makers, rated even higher than funding which was second
• increased consultation , affordable premises and training were also high priorities
• the top issues local VCS groups wished the LSP to address were equalities and cohesion followed by health issues
• local VCS groups employ around 3,000 staff
