Neighbourhood Involvement
ECN has been involved in the development of neighbourhood projects over a number of years. Their current work is based around West Ealing. In addition ECN has worked with the CANBE project to develop the Greenford, Northolt and Perivale confederation of VCS groups.
Green Man/Drayton Bridge and Sherwwod Close
The ECN Neighbourhood Involvement worker, Ann Marie Charles, works with and supports residents, community groups and service providers on Green Man Lane and Drayton Bridge to improve the quality of life and services on the estates.
The work carried out to date includes:
- Service Map for Green Man and Drayton Bridge identifying service provision and gaps in service delivery.
- Supporting local residents to participate effectively in estate regeneration and wider consultation.
- Supporting active groups in obtaining funding for projects and activities on both estates.
- supporting residents in obtaining accredited training in around the Ealing Borough.
- Working with service providers to develop community development strategy.
- Estate walkabout with residents, Police, Housing Officers and community organisations.

Greenford Northolt and Perivale
The GNP Confederation was launched in February 2009. It has quarterly open meetings which are listed in the Community Calendar.
