Objectives and Vision of the Digital Challenge Programme (DC10plus)
The DC10plus aims to be a network for change; helping to empower people and connect communities through innovation and technology.
The DC10plus vision is to drive the digital inclusion agenda forward - underpinned by members' first-hand experience, knowledge and interactions at a local level.
This vision underpins the DC10plus main objectives to:
- exchange knowledge and jointly develop good practice
- promote digital inclusion to support delivery of LAA's
- jointly develop and support bids to EU and other funding sources
- identify key social inclusion issues and advise central government
- advise local authorities (and other organisations) on good and next practice
- organise and attend relevant events/seminars
- act as a national and regional resource for local authorities and their partners looking to address social inclusion issues through innovation
